Druid Rescue Kit is a simple and effective rescue device. The rescuer attaches the victim to the rope and cuts the victims lanyard before rappeling to the ground using the descender. It is also possible to lisft the person up just enough to detach the lanyard and rappel to the ground. Also suitable for rescue on roofs.  In the event of an accident where the worker remains suspended after a fall, the CAMP. Rescue Kit Druid can be used to safety evacuate the rescurer and victim to the round. The CAMP Rescue Kit Druid can be used in three different ways; rescue with cut lanyard, rescue with block-and-tackle system and rescue on the roofs.

Rescue with cut lanyard

  •  connect the anchor webbing above the rescuer and victim;
  • descend to the level of the victim and attach the carabiner to the victim's harness
  • tension the rope;
  • cut the victim's lanyard with the scissors;
  • lower the victim to the ground by means of the Druid descender.
 

Rescue with block-and-tackle system

  •  connect the anchor webbing above the rescuer and victim
  • descent to the level of the victim and attach the carabiner (A) to the victim's harness
  • clip the free side of the rope to the carabiner (B) and lift the victim up until you're able to disconnect his lanyard
  • disconnect the victim's lanyard
  • lower the victim to the ground by means of the Druid descender.

Rescue on roofs 

  • When working on roofs, in order to allow an efficient rescue, it is possible to connect an additional lanyard between the anchor point and the fall-arrest system of the user. In case of fall over the edge, by using the Rescue Kit Druid it is possible to proceed in the following way:
  • connect the anchor webbing above the rescuer and victim;
  • connect a quick link to the end of the fall-arrest system of the victim;
  • connect the end loop of the rope of the Rescue Kit Druid to the quick link just installed;
  • clip the free side of the rope to the carabiner and lift the victim up until you're able to disconnect the additional lanyard;
  • disconnect the additional lanyard;
  • lower the victim to the ground by means of the “Druid” descender.
