Innovative fall protection

From The leader in fall protection equipment the 3M RoofSafe™ Anchor and Cable is a horizontal lifeline system that allows continuous uninterrupted access to help you control your environment so you can focus on the job at hand.

Users simply attaches to the Roofsafe™ Cable system with a UniGrab traveller connected to a energy absorbing lanyard or adjustable ropeline. Once connected, Multiple people can access the system at any given time and travel freely across intermediat posts without having to disconnet.
The system should ideally be used in a work restraint technique, preventing the possibility of a fall. When full retraint is not practicable, the RoofSafe anchors In line energy absorbers reduce load transfer to the structure in the event of a fall.

Designed to fit any roof profile

With multiple fixing options, the system can be installed on almost any roof profile including iron, warm and membrane roofs.

RoofSafe™ Cable System components include end anchors, intermediate cable supports, variable cable supports and corner cable supports to allow maximum flexibility in roof fall protection system designs and ensure workers have uncompromising access for all aspects of roof inspection and maintenance.

Components, including the 8mm wire rope are made from quality 316 stainless steel. All fabricated parts are further enhanced by electro-polishing to provide strong resistance to corrosion and a long service life for the roof fall protection system.

Surface mounted for maximum water resistance

The RoofSafe™ cable systems lightweight anchor post design mounts to the surface of your roof profile (generally with rivets). Minimum roof penetration allows for maximum water resistance.

Roofs are changing to accommodate more insulation materials and being designed to utilise lighter materials and take advantage of new technologies. The advanced design of the RoofSafe™ Anchor allows customers to benefit from modern roofing design whilst ensuring safety and structural integrity.

Ready to spring into action when you need it most

Modular, lightweight design provides safe, cost-effective flexibility in system design including accommodating roof refurbishment and green roof projects.

In the event of a fall, the anchor breaks open, deploying the unique and patented Force Management Technology absorbing system which reduces the forces generated on the roof structure to less than 610 kg. (6kN), the lowest of any of its kind on the market. This enables the anchor to be installed on a wide variety of old and new roof types without risk to structural integrity.
In the unlikely event that the anchor is deployed, it is possible to remove the module and replace it with a new one. This is also an advantage with the ever changing building regulations, with the need for increased depth of roof insulation.

Spiratech™ Force Management technology Provides the lowest distribution load to the roof system when compared to the competition.

In the event of a fall, the RoofSafe™ Anchor breaks open, deploying the unique and patented SpiraTech™ Force Management Technology absorbing system, which reduces the forces generated on the roof structure to less than 5kN, the lowest of any of its kind on the market. This enables the anchor to be installed on a wide variety of old and new roof types without risk to structural integrity.
